Ms. Katharine Krampf has been teaching at Cold Spring, South and Hedge Elementary Schools in the Plymouth Public School District since August 2014. She teaches daily K-5 general music classes as well as conducts two choruses and directs two musicals per year. She has enjoyed piloting programs in the Plymouth School community such as "The Arts Integration Project", "Music Reading Incentive" and "Peer Leaders Program" through Cold Spring School Council. Ms. Krampf also teaches voice lessons to Plymouth high school students. Last year she prepared and conducted a concert in Plymouth, England for an elementary chorus. This summer she will be traveling back with students from America to perform a joint concert. 

 

Ms. Krampf is currently attending Teachers College, Columbia University for a Masters Degree in Music Education. She graduated Cum Laude from Ithaca College with a Bachelors Degree in Music Education in May 2014. 

 

Before employment at Plymouth Public Schools, Ms. Krampf had many wonderful experiences teaching students of all ages music and theatre. She was a teacher and resident assisant at Ithaca College Summer Music Academy as well as a vocal coach for Hopewell Valley Children's Theatre. She was also the music teacher at Ithaca Community Childcare and a music volunteer at Ithaca Project Headstart. 

 

Ms. Krampf has experience leading Ithaca Children's Chorus, Princeton Girlchoir, and Premium Blend, Ithaca College's All-Female A Cappella Group. Ms. Krampf is also a member of the music fraternity Mu Phi Epsilon.
